A freestyle world champion windsurfer, Marcilio Browne, lives and windsurfs in Brazil.
Marcilio Browne is better known by some as Brawzinho, the nickname given to him by his father. Born into a family of national windsurfing champions, Brawzinho picked up the family trade at the young age of 4. Making the decision to go pro at 12, he won his first world cup PWA event at the age of 16, at the Belgium Indoor Jump contest.
In 2007, at the age of 18 he won one of the biggest and most traditional events on the PWA, the Fuertventura Grand Slam, followed by a repeat win in 2008. Marcilio competes in both waves and freestyle disciplines, but his focus has been more towards the waves.
