LIGHT TRANSMISSION CONTROL (LTC™)
Not content with creating an entirely new lens material, Kaenon advanced polarized eyewear with groundbreaking Light Transmission Control technology. LTC technology is a combination of Kaenon’s proprietary Light Transmission Levels (LTL®) and the science behind the exclusive design of our lens tints.
Kaenon’s own select lens tints – Grey, Brown, Copper or Yellow – combine with each LTL to optically enhance, tune and improve visibility in any weather condition, activity or time of day.
GREY: A neutral tint that doesn’t alter color perception.
BROWN: A mid-contrast tint that slightly enhances color.
COPPER: A high-contrast tint that enhances color contrast and detail recognition.
YELLOW: A maximum-contrast tint with superior color enhancement and detail definition.
LTL 12: Our darkest lens (blocks 88% of visible light), performs best in bright, full sun conditions. Available in Copper, Grey and Brown lenses.
LTL 28: Half as dark as LTL 12 (blocks 72% of visible light), great multi-purpose lens performs well in all light conditions. Available in Copper and Grey lenses.
LTL 35: Great all-around lens (blocks 65% of visible light), significantly enhances contrast, optimum in hazy, changing and low light conditions. Available in Yellow lenses.
LTL 50: Our lightest lens (blocks 50% of visible light). Allows maximum light transmission for greatest detail recognition. Performs best in low light and hazy conditions.
