A professional surfer from Maui, Zack is a veteran with more than 25 years of experience. His most notable results include a third place finish at the 1999 World Championships in Australia and second place at the U.S. Open of Surfing in 2003. He is also well known for his top-10 ranking on the Association of Surfing Professionals World Longboard Tour spanning 10 years.
