A snowboard mountaineer, cinematographer and fly-fishing guide, John is a versatile outdoorsman from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, his home for more than 30 years. He is the only North American to snowboard in the “death zone” at 8000 meters on Cho Oyu, the sixth tallest peak on earth.

Well recognized from photo and video taken of his arduous alpine climbs and incredible snowboard free rides, John is now using his experience on the other side of the lens as a high-angle cameraman.
