Tudur Owen began sailing at age 11 with his father on a cruiser, and it wasn’t long before he started racing Optimists and Cadets. After completing a degree in Sports Science in 2005, Tudur graduated into the RYA Keelboat Squad where he began match racing with Alistair Hall in 2006.
After meeting Torvar Mirsky in Perth during the 2007 Warren Jones Youth Regatta, Tudur was asked to compete with Mirsky Racing Team in their first Grade 1, the Internationaux de France which they went on to win. He impressed the team, and earned himself a permanent position, competing in every event with them since.
