A professional slalom C-1 event canoeist, Tony comes from a family of world champion canoeists. He has won two Olympic gold medals during his career as a canoeist in addition to twelve ICF Canoe Slalom World Championship podium finishes, five of which were 1st place finishes. Tony is also the only whitewater canoeist to have ever successfully defended his title as an Olympic champion.
