Robert Allenby is a professional golfer from Melbourne, Australia. His stellar career began when he joined the PGA Tour of Australasia in 1992 and found immediate success, winning 2 events that year and topping their Order of Merit as a fresh-faced 19 year-old. Following success on that tour, Robert began to compete on the European Tour principally through 1998, where he won four tournaments. Since 1999, Robert has competed on the PGA Tour, finding success in his early tour years.
In 2005, he became the first golfer to win the “triple crown” comprised of the Australian Masters, Australian PGA and Australian Open all in the same year.
